Lost Library

Privacy Policy

Effective October 26, 2026

Lost Library is built to keep your reading private. There are no accounts and no sign-in. What you read, highlight, save and listen to stays on your phone.

What stays on your device

Your library, reading progress, highlights, notes, bookmarks, downloads, listening position, onboarding answers and the preferences Discover learns from your reading are stored only on your iPhone. We do not receive them. Deleting the app deletes them.

What we receive

Advertising

Free readers may see a small banner from Google AdMob outside the reader and audio player. We request non-personalized ads only and do not ask to track you across apps. Google may still collect device and usage information, such as IP address, device type and ad interactions, to deliver and measure ads and prevent fraud. In the EU, UK and Switzerland we ask for your consent where the law requires it. See how Google uses information from apps that use its services.

Subscriptions

Patron is billed by Apple. We never see your payment details. We use RevenueCat to confirm your subscription; it receives an anonymous app identifier and your purchase history from Apple. See the RevenueCat privacy policy.

What we don't do

We don't sell personal information, build advertising profiles, or knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Your choices

You can delete your reading data at any time by deleting the app. You can limit ad tracking in iPhone Settings, and remove ads entirely with Patron. To ask about or delete anything you sent us by email, write to hello@lostlibrary.app.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the date above and, for meaningful changes, say so in the app.
